Hunter Pollack Reacts to GA School Shooting, Calls for Urgent Action

Hunter Pollack, brother of Meadow Pollack, who tragically lost her life in the 2018 Parkland school shooting in Florida, joined Joe Pags to react to the recent school shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia. Meadow was one of 17 victims in the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, and since then, Hunter has been a strong advocate for school safety and accountability.

During the interview, Hunter expressed his frustration that despite continued school shootings like the recent one in Georgia, little has changed in terms of prevention and action. Four people were killed in the Apalachee High School shooting, including students and teachers, and nine others were injured. The suspect, a 14-year-old student, is in custody and facing charges of murder.

Hunter shared his deep concern over the lack of progress in improving safety in schools and highlighted how the system is failing to protect children. He reflected on his personal experience with the loss of his sister and called on lawmakers to focus on more actionable reforms. Pollack also discussed the importance of ensuring that schools have proper security measures and responsible guardianship to prevent further tragedies from occurring.

He emphasized the need for both local and federal government accountability, particularly in monitoring school safety, and urged Americans to prioritize local elections to address these pressing concerns.
