Oklahoma City police arrested three men from Houston, Texas, on Wednesday in connection with a jugging incident.

The suspects, identified as Jalen Gross, 32, Dennis Earl, 42, and Datavien Arvie, 22, allegedly followed a victim from a bank to a Lowe's near I-240 and Santa Fe Avenue, where they broke into the victim's car and stole cash left inside.

Police believe the suspects may be linked to a Houston-based criminal street gang involved in similar thefts across the area.

The term "jugging" describes a crime where suspects follow individuals from financial institutions to steal their money.

The Oklahoma City Police Department used surveillance footage and automatic license plate readers to identify and track the suspects' vehicle.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and recovered the stolen cash, KFOR reports.

All three suspects face charges of third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit a felony.
