The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents has approved a three-percent increase in tuition and mandatory fees for the 2025-2026 academic year. This decision will affect both in-state and out-of-state students, with the changes set to take effect in the upcoming school year.
For full-time undergraduate resident students, this increase translates to an additional $150, raising the total cost from $4,943.25 to $5,093.25. Out-of-state students will see a $417 increase, with tuition rising from $13,733.25 to $14,150.25. The Health Sciences campus will experience a two to four percent increase in tuition and fees.
Governor Kevin Stitt has opposed the tuition hike, suggesting that universities should seek efficiencies before resorting to increases. Meanwhile, Oklahoma State University is expected to keep its tuition and fees unchanged for the fourth consecutive year.
