The Saint Francis Tulsa Tough, one of the biggest biking events in the United States, is underway this weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The event, known for its high-speed races and vibrant community atmosphere, began on Friday (June 6) and will continue through Sunday (June 8), drawing cyclists from around the world to downtown Tulsa.

The three-day cycling festival features a variety of races, including criteriums and Gran Fondos, with courses spanning multiple districts such as the Blue Dome District, Tulsa Arts District, and the iconic Cry Baby Hill near 15th Street and Riverside Drive. Organizers expect over 50,000 spectators to attend, with hundreds of cyclists competing for up to $11,000 in prize money.

The event includes races for all levels, from professional cyclists to casual riders. Tulsa Tough offers three days of criteriums and two days of rides, including the Fondo rides on Saturday and Sunday, allowing participants to choose routes that match their pace and challenge level. The event also features a Corporate Challenge Sportif, promoting friendly competition among local companies.

New this year is "Project Dudeman," a men's mental fitness group, mirroring the existing women's group, the "Divas," reflecting Tulsa Tough's commitment to wellness and inclusion within the cycling community.

Spectators are encouraged to arrive early, bring water, and enjoy the festival-like atmosphere surrounding each race course. With its mix of competitive racing and community engagement, the Saint Francis Tulsa Tough continues to elevate Tulsa as a destination for cycling enthusiasts.
