Oklahoma is seeing a rise in the number of whooping cough cases. According to the CDC, there were 469 cases in Oklahoma last year, and there have been 77 cases so far in 2025. There were only 20 whooping cough cases in Oklahoma in 2020. Doctors tell KFOR that many people missed vaccinations and well-child checks during the pandemic.
