The Afghan national accused of plotting an election day terrorist attack will remain in custody. An Oklahoma City federal judge Thursday ruled that 27-year old Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi would be a danger to the community and also determined he is a flight risk. Tawhedi and his underaged brother-in-law were arrested as they tried to purchase weapons and ammunition for the attack, and investigators say his communications indicate he is an ISIS sympathizer. Following the preliminary hearing, Tawhedi was handed back to US Marshals. He will remain in federal custody throughout his trial.
