A lawsuit has been filed against Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters' Bible mandate. The 32 plaintiffs in the lawsuit filed yesterday include parents, teachers and faith leaders who allege that Walters is trying to impose his personal religious beliefs on other people's children. The lawsuit seeks to stop Walters' mandate that requires every school in Oklahoma to incorporate the Bible in the classroom on the grounds that the order violates the state constitution's religious freedom protections.
