Oklahoma City police are increasing their presence in Bricktown following two weekend shootings.

Oklahoma City Police Chief Ron Bacy says 10 additional officers will focus solely on enforcing a curfew. The curfew is 9 p-m for minors who are unaccompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult, unless the juvenile is working or returning from work or other event. The curfew has been in effect since March 2023. Bacy says the goal is to make Bricktown a family, fun and friendly environment for all ages.
