The Kansas City Chiefs benefited from a controversial call during a 26-25 win over the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead. The Chiefs were down two with under a minute left when Patrick Mahomes threw an incompletion on fourth-and-16. However, the referees called pass interference, setting up Harrison Butker's 51-yard game-winning field goal. Mahomes passed for 151 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in the victory. The Chiefs improved to 2-and-0. Joe Burrow had 258 passing yards and a touchdown in the losing effort. The Bengals are 0-and-2 for the third season in a row.
