Chiefs Knock Off Ravens In Season-Opener

The Chiefs survived a scare on opening night of the 2024 NFL season.

The team took down the Ravens 27-20 from Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday Night Football.

Patrick Mahomes completed 20-of-28 passes for 291 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Rashee Rice hauled-in seven passes for 103 yards and Xavier Worthy scored a TD on the ground and through the air.

Lamar Jackson went 26-of-41 for 273 yards and a touchdown for Baltimore. He hit Isaiah Likely for the potential game-tying touchdown as time expired, but the tight end's toe was barely out of bounds in the back of the end zone. Likely finished with a career-high nine catches for 111 yards and a touchdown.
