Charges are dropped against a man accused of killing two people at a Del City laundromat in 2017. The Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office dismissed first-degree murder charges against Roshaun Jones. He was accused of killing 42-year-old Nekia Jackson and 60-year-old Russ Roberts at the Laundry Station near Southeast 15th Street and Sunnylane Road. Prosecutors say the case had unforeseeable complications including the retirement of a judge, the deaths of the lead detective and a public defender, the COVID pandemic, and a new prosecuting team being assigned after the election of a new District Attorney.
