The Oklahoma Sooners have released the Week 1 depth chart as the Sooners prepare for their season-opener.
The Sooners open the season on Friday night at home against the Temple Owls.
Head Coach Brent Venables says the team has seen a lot of improvement from a year ago. One of the areas of improvement, Venables said was at running back. Venables says up and down the depth chart there is improvement from a year ago. The team has also grown in size from a year ago, which is something many insiders believe will be important as OU heads to The S-E-C.
Venables says he is excited about the team as they head into the season.
The Sooners will host Temple at 6 p.m. Friday at Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
