Vinnie Pasquantino went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored, while Bobby Witt Jr. finished the game 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. Starting pitcher Cole Ragans was charged with the loss and fell to 10-and-8 after allowing five runs through five frames. The Royals are now 70-and-56. They host the Angels again tonight. Right-hander Michael Lorenzen will start opposite LA righty Johnny Cueto.
