The Kansas City Chiefs were handed a loss in their preseason opener. Kansas City fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars 26-13 at EverBank Stadium. Patrick Mahomes completed 3-of-4 passes for 27 yards. Carson Steele scored on a one-yard run in the second quarter. Harrison Butker was 2-for-2 on field goal attempts. The Chiefs will host the Detroit Lions on Saturday afternoon.
