A Coweta police car was involved in a wreck on Saturday night. Police say an officer was in pursuit of a motorcycle that had been doing wheelies and driving at a high rate of speed through town when the officer crashed into another motorist near Highway 51 and 111th street. The patrol car was heavily damaged and caught fire after the accident. The driver of the other car was hurt and taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The officer was not hurt. The motorcyclist was not caught.
