Preliminary results from the spring state testing program show improvement across the board for students in Tulsa Public Schools. There was a 16-point improvement in grades three through five for the ELA and a five point improvement in Math for that group. In middle schools, the ELA scores went up 12-points and in Math, it was a 4-point improvement. In High school grades, there was an eight point improvement in math and a 3 point improvement in English. District officials say while they're happy with the positive results, there's still a lot of work to be done.
