The Tulsa Public School District is the latest district in Oklahoma to announce it will be banning cell phones, smart watches and wireless headphones from classrooms. Superintendent Ebony Johnson says the goal of the new policy is to remove distractions. High school students will be required to turn off devices and put them away during instructional time, while elementary and middle school students will have to put the devices away while on campus.
