The Royals poured on some late runs to sweep the White Sox 4-1 from Kauffman Stadium. The game was tied 1-1 in the eighth inning until Hunter Renfroe, Maikel Garcia and Dairon Blanco singled-home runs to take the lead. Seth Lugo threw 103 pitches over all nine innings for his first-career complete game. Kansas City is third in the AL Central at 55-and-45. Tommy Pham drove in Chicago's only run with a sixth-inning single. John Brebbia got the loss in relief. The Sox have lost seven straight to remain last in the division at 27-and-74.
