Oklahoma Senator James Lankford is demanding answers from the Secret Service following an assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump. Lankford was among the senators who confronted Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle during the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Wednesday. Lankford says senators asked Cheatle if she would agree to be in a public hearing next week. Critics have called on Cheatle to resign following last weekend's shooting at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
