The Uvalde school district and Uvalde County sheriff's office have 20-days to release records about the police response to the 2022 school shooting. That's according to a judge's ruling on Monday. In the interests of transparency, a group of media outlets wants access to police body cam footage, emails, 911 calls, and other communications related to the shooting and its investigation. In May 2022, an 18-year-old gunman killed 19 kids and two teachers at Robb Elementary. Law enforcement officers didn't confront the shooter for 77-minutes.
