It wasn't exactly a close encounter with a UFO on the Turner Turnpike, but an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper may remember it for a long time. What it was, was a vehicle that looked like a UFO that the trooper pulled over for having an obstructed tag. The women inside the vehicle weren't extra-terrestrials. They were humans heading to a UFO festival in Roswell, New Mexico. They didn't get a ticket, but they did get a warning.
