A bill that - if enacted would make trafficking abortion drugs in Oklahoma a felony - is one step closer to becoming state law. Lawmakers say, as written, the measure authored by state Representative Denise Crosswhite-Hader would impose penalties of up to $100,000 in fines and 10 years in prison. Republican proponents say the measure targets traffickers rather than pregnant women. All state democrats present for yesterday's legislative session voted against the bill.
