Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters is subpoenaed by the state House. State Representative Mark McBride of Moore issued the subpoena and noted that he and his colleagues have tried to communicate with Walters about issues including how tax dollars are spent. A spokesperson for Walters says McBride has repeatedly lied about Walters and the State Department of Education, and they accused McBride of working with Democrats and teachers' unions to undermine Walters and Oklahomans' conservative policies.
