Public Service Company of Oklahoma says crews are working around the clock to restore power following the devastating storm that hit the state over the weekend.
At one point more than half of the homes and businesses in Tulsa were without power and PSO says it could be Saturday before everyone has power restored.
Crews are being brought in from out of state to help support the efforts. PSO says it expects customers in rural areas, including Vinita, Grove and Choteau could have power fully restored by 5 p.m. Wednesday, while some customers in the city of Tulsa may be without electricity this weekend. The company said it now expects to have everyone back on by 5 p.m. Saturday.
