A manhunt is underway after an Okmulgee County sheriff's deputy was shot early this morning. It happened in Okmulgee at about 3 this morning as officers were responding to a burglary call. The sheriff's department says one of the officers was ambushed and wounded during a shootout. He is now hospitalized. The suspect is said to be 34-year-old Christopher Alfred Harris and officials believe he is armed with an AK-47. Officers have been going door to door searching for him and are using a helicopter.
