An agreement is reached among Oklahoma lawmakers on an education budget. The spending plan will initially cost around $800 million including $150 million for private school tax credits. The plan also calls for teacher pay raises ranging from $3,000 to $6,000 based on experience. In addition, teachers will be guaranteed six weeks of paid maternal leave.
