St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa has been granted a waiver to continue use of an "eternal flame" that has burned for 15 years in the hospital chapel. The Biden Administration was threatening to revoke the hospital's accreditation, calling the lit candle a fire hazard. But Oklahoma's two U.S. Senators and five U.S. Representatives got involved and in a joint statement announced the waiver. They say the threat was a violation of religious freedom and that the enclosed candle is unrelated to healthcare.
