Governor Stitt is restructuring his executive cabinet, creating a new Secretary of Workforce Development and a new Secretary of Operations and Government Efficiency. Stitt says his new Workforce Secretary, to be announced at a later date, will be critical to making Oklahoma the most business-friendly state in the nation. He says his new Secretary of Operations and Government Efficiency, John Suter [[ suit-ter ]] will focus on shrinking the size of state government and providing the most efficient services for taxpayers. Suter is also the State Chief Operating Officer. And since Governor Stitt can only have 15 cabinet areas under state law, he is eliminating the Secretary of Science and Innovation.
