A man is dead after authorities say he accidentally shot himself while in a vehicle. According to officers in Ponca City, the man was handling a loaded gun while in the passenger seat of a moving vehicle when it fired and struck him in the head. He is identified as 23-year-old Cesar Lopez. Ponca City police are reminding everyone to practice safe handling of all firearms at all times, and to never point a firearm in an unsafe direction.
