Oklahoma lawmakers are trying to put distance between marijuana grow operations and churches. Senate Bill 116 requires any new marijuana grow to be at least one-thousand feet away from a church. Existing grows that are already within one-thousand feet of churches would be exempt from the new law. The measure is currently headed to the Oklahoma House for consideration.
