In the first round of the East Regionals of the NCAA Tournament last night in Orlando, the Duke Blue Devils dominated virtually every facet of the game against Oral Roberts, finishing the contest with a 74-51 victory. Led by Jeremy Roach, who matched his career high of 23 points, Duke jumped out early with a 15-0 run and never trailed. The closest ORU was able to get was 14 points in the second half.
Max Abmas led ORU with 12 points. The Golden Eagles finish the season at 30 and 5.
With the win, Duke advances to the second round to take on Tennessee Saturday.
