Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in Lincoln County. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says a 15-year-old boy called 911 yesterday afternoon to report that he had shot his father at a home near State Highway 99 and East 900 Road, south of Stroud. The teen told investigators that he opened fire after he got into an argument with his father, who had cornered him while armed with a knife. The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, and the teen was taken to the sheriff's office for questioning.
