State officials are confirming that remains found last week in rural Grady County are those of a Cyril girl who disappeared more than two weeks ago. OBI officials say the remains of four-year-old Athena Brownfield were found on January 17th. Authorities had been searching for her since January 10th, when Athena's five-year-old sister was found wandering alone near the family's home. Ivon Adams, who had been the children's caretaker, reportedly faces a murder charge in Athena's death. His wife, Alysia, faces related charges.
