The State of Oklahoma is announcing more settlements with opioid distributors and retailers worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Attorney General John O'Connor says the state is getting more than $200 million from companies including Walgreens and CVS. The state has now received over $900 million in opioid settlements, putting it near the top of the country on a per capita basis. O'Connor said the opioid crisis has inflicted unspeakable pain on Oklahoma families, and the settlement funds must go toward treating opioid addictions.
