State Of Emergency Declared Due To Oklahoma Weather

Governor Kevin Stitt has signed an executive order declaring a State of Emergency for all 77 Oklahoma counties due to the wintery weather hitting the state.

The Executive Order temporarily suspends requirements for size and weights permits of oversized vehicles transporting materials and supplies used for emergency relief and power restoration.

State agencies are continuing to prepare for the winter storm, including the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Oklahoma Corporation Commission, Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Oklahoma Tax Commission, Office of Management and Enterprise Services, Oklahoma Department of Public Safety, Oklahoma National Guard, Oklahoma State Department of Health, and others.
