State election officials say voter turnout was down this year compared to the last midterm. According to the State Election Board, just over 50% of registered Oklahoma voters cast a ballot, a decline of almost six-percent from 2018. More than 480,000 voters used the straight-party option, with almost 70% of those being Republicans. The vote count remains unofficial but will be certified next Tuesday.
