The Trump administration is thinking about rolling back Obama-era steps to normalize relations with Cuba. In a Senate hearing yesterday, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson criticized Cuba's Castro regime.
He said the regime has little incentive to change its behavior and its treatment of the Cuban people. Tillerson argued that normalization removed pressure on Cuba to change. Now-former President Obama argued that decades of isolation of Cuba did not work and he said it was time to try something new.
