Photos: Wildfires Leave Devastation Throughout Parts Of Oklahoma

Dry conditions mixed with powerful winds helped dangerous wildfires spread across the state of Oklahoma, leaving widespread damage.

The Director of Oklahoma Emergency Management, Annie Mack Vest, said more than 200 homes had been destroyed and fires are still smoldering across the state.

Governor Kevin Stitt has declared an emergency in the hardest hit counties. Stitt signed Executive Order 2025-06 declaring a State of Emergency in Cleveland, Creek, Dewey, Grady, Lincoln, Logan, Oklahoma, Pawnee, Payne, Pottawatomie, Roger Mills, and Stephens counties.
