Oklahoma health officials are keeping a close eye on measles cases in New Mexico and Texas. Both states have seen sharp increases in measles. Doctors in Oklahoma are being advised to consider a measles diagnosis in patients who have a fever, along with a rash, cough and conjunctivis, which is an eye infection. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the State Health Department say no measles cases have been reported in Oklahoma this year. Oklahoma had one reported measles case last year.
