Improvements are coming to Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The University of Oklahoma's Board of Regents approved the project yesterday. The project is expected to cost between $12 million and $15 million and upgrade the west lower seating bowl, west upper deck and press box.
OU President Joseph Harroz Jr. says the proposed renovations would be good for the university.
"When you look at it, we believe the plan, if we plan the right way and it comes out the right way, not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but with donations and the additional ticket revenue it would generate, we think it would be financially positive," said Harroz.
