An Oklahoma City area lawmaker will try again to pass legislation that would make certain non-profit organizations exempt from sales taxes. Representative Marilyn Stark's proposal would create a sales tax exemption for organizations that have $3 million or less in annual gross revenue. The Republican from Bethany says she's been trying to get this legislation passed for several years now. In 2023, her plan passed the House on a 70 to 17 vote, but it never made it to the floor of the State Senate. The Legislative Session begins on February 3rd.
