Oklahoma is dealing with a number of wildfires. Several wildfires broke out yesterday near Pawhuska, Chickasha, Cushing, Cashion, Seiling and Wellston. Evacuation orders were issued, and the Crescent Fire Department lost a command truck in a fire near Highways 33 and 99. No injuries were reported, but several homes were destroyed in Logan and Lincoln counties. Osage County Emergency Management said fifty homes were evacuated near Pawhuska. In Payne County, an Emergency Activation Alert was sent to people, telling them to leave the areas east of Cushing and southeast of Yale.
