No wrongdoing is found during an investigation of the Oklahoma State Department of Education. The Legislative Office of Fiscal Transparency had investigated concerns from lawmakers and citizens over the education department's spending. School districts had cited delays in receiving state funding, changing and limited communication about funding, and uncertainty in budgeting. The Legislative Office of Fiscal Transparency made a number of suggestions including requiring the education department to publish a plan for new programs or legislative mandates within 90 days of the program's effective date.
