A virtual Southmoore High School student is under arrest in connection with a foiled terror plot. The underage co conspirator is the brother-in-law of suspect 27-year-old Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi of Oklahoma City. The Department of Justice say the suspects allegedly were working on a plan to carry out terrorist attacks on Election Day on behalf of ISIS.

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt is commenting on a foiled Election Day terror plot. Stitt says it was his understanding that the attack was going to be carried out at an Oklahoma City polling place on Election Day.

“I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our investigators and law enforcement officers for successfully uncovering and stopping this terrorist plot before innocent lives were put in danger. This is a powerful example of how the information-sharing measures we implemented between local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies are making a real difference," said Stitt. “Those who seek to harm our nation, threaten our freedoms, and disrupt our way of life will be held accountable and face the full force of the law.”
