An Oklahoma school district is paying a multi-million-dollar settlement. Ninnekah Public Schools will pay a $7.5 million settlement to settle a sexual abuse case involving former teacher and coach Ronald Akins. Akins was arrested in 2021 and pleaded guilty last year to sexually abusing female students. Attorneys claimed that the school district was aware of the allegations against Akins but failed to take action.
